About Me

The Killianaire project is a solo venture into music production and DJing, by Killian Halpin.

I’ve wanted to create music and DJ since I was around 18 years old, but never actually put effort into this path until around 2020. I was visiting my fiancé (at the time) in her home country of Peru, when the COVID-19 pandemic started and forced me to be stuck in Lima, Peru for 9 whole months. I took advantage of all this free time to finally start putting effort into my dream of making music and playing shows.

I’ve been a life-long fan of music and live music, in particular. My parents introduced to this world very early on in my life. I saw Carlos Santana when I was only 8 years old!
My high school years were the real blossoming point for my love of live music though, as I started to broaden my taste in music while also actively going to see artists that I loved play live performances. My college years really cemented my love for especially live music, as I started to really get more engaged in the live music scene with venue shows and festivals.

Live music is my absolute happy place. The amount of joy and sense of feeling content that it has brought me is beyond measure.
I wanted to be able to create those same experiences for others. Those experiences I so much cherish and will appreciate until the end of time.

Once I finished college and had more free time on my hands, I finally decided to pursue my dream of creating music and playing it live…. and here we are! :)
